NC Motorcycle License Handbook

For those of you who are new to street riding, getting your motorcycle beginner's license is easy as long as you read the study guide.  When you go for your test, you will sit at a computer terminal and touch screen the answers to the questions.  It is actually a great way to be tested!  There is no pressure and no time limit (within reason) so make sure you take the time to print out and study the guide and you should have no problem.  Some of the correct answers are not what you would think they are!

Once you have some riding time under your belt, you can make an appointment at the DMV office nearest to you for the riding skills test.  Once you pass the riding skills test you will have the motorcycle license endorsement on your regular license and you will then be able to carry a passenger.
