New to the website, and the bike scene. I have a 1999 Suzuki Katana 750 that I am fixing up. Dying to start riding but i still have alot to do on my bike. Anyone in my area know a thing or 2 about motorcycles (especially carbs, my current problem) and wants to teach me and/or lend a hand, let me know by sending a message.

Welcome to the site!
I really don't know too much about carbs. All my bikes have been carbed, but I have been fortunate in the fact that I haven't had to do much in the way of working on them.
I wish you the best of luck with them. Some shops still have good carb mechanics. But with most bikes using injection now, it is getting harder and harder to find the really good mechanics.
Keep posted as to how the bike is coming along. I had a good friend many years ago that rode a Katana and did a good job of it.

I rode a bandit for a few years (similar engine to a katana) and did a fair amount of carb work. what problem are you having?
