It was a ghost town out there today... but I can't say that I don't know why... . I didn't get out in yesterday's beautiful weather so this actually was a nice time for me.

Couple pics, many of you probably know the roads:

Vicki and I got out at about 9:30 and had a nice run through the countryside and up Hwy 178, but in NC on 178, it started to get foggy. Then we shot over to Caesar's Head, and it was a total PITA. You couldn't see 30 yards in front of you. About halfway down, it finally cleared up. When we had left SC 45 minutes earlier, the roads were dry, but after coming back into SC, it was drizzling and the roads were wet. We eventually wound up back at The Store (Hwy 11/178) and no one was around, so we went back home. We still logged well over 100 miles. We were planning on at least doubling that, but the rain showed up about 3-4 hours sooner than we were expecting......wasn't too bad of a weekend at over 400 miles, total.

LOTS of drizzle for me... no rain, just lots of drizzle!

Leaving from Simpsonville area, it was cool and overcast... the farther west I got, the condition got worse and worse, adventurous I mean. On the way back, stopped at the store to chill with a drink a little bit then to head back home. That was around 3pm.

It was still good. Almost any riding is good.VroomVroom
I would have enjoyed it a bit better without the drizzle and fog on my freshly washed bike.
However, I still had a good time.
