Let me guess - it wouldn't fit in the mattress with the rest of your stash?! Are you liquidating and moving to Canada??

Clearing room for another bike (or two) if all works out as planned. If I move, it will be to New Zealand. Wife's not on board quite, yet.

I'm still working the wife over for the NZ move myself (that would be MY wife and not YOURS :-)) but sheesh- dont get rid of the Tard!!! what could possibly replace it but a shiny new Italian bike that ends in a "48"???

Good luck with the sale-
Chris

Maybe we can get a group rate or buy a cruise ship from one of the cruise companies when they go out of business. Maybe Mitch would be willing to fly us there.

Nah... that money is ear tagged for next house down payment and sitting in a money market account clicking along at 3%. If you look at the average rate of return on this investment against the DOW lately, I'm up 31%! :nutkick:

Check out CapitalOne Online Savings account. Currently 3.75% for Costco members and 3.50% for non-members. Costco members also got a $60 sign-up bonus. Biggest benefit, it is FDIC insured. Check your MM fund, most of them are not FDIC insured, and many have "broken the buck" lately and shut down.

Its with Capital One. I opened the account when it was getting 5% and now it is at three. Hopefully one day it will work it's way back up to 5. FDIC insured... a must in todays economy.:spank

They have a online high yield money market (3.0%) and an online savings account (3.55%). The savings account is usually a little higher. You can have both and transfer balances back and forth. Now buy the Hypermotard and your investment will pay immediate dividends!

I rode Peter's Hyper yesterday afternoon. What a FUN FUN bike! Tons of power and you can just throw this thing into turns. Major SMILE factor!

I wish I could afford to buy one right now but in the meanwhile I will just beg and grobble to take the one from Brust Motorwerks.

dammm right I want one. I want a high performance car, boat, airplane (Never mind...I have one of those) , peace in the world, no more world hunger, etc, etc........but my daughters college funds took a big toll and having one two years way from attending and no chance of her getting a free education (even with a 4.0 GPA !!!! (WTF) ) I must save all I can right now and/or replenish some more money in her 529 college fund

I wish. I was lucky to get 2 motorcycles in the garage. Divorce papers would be in the works if a 3rd showed up.:conf44:
