Forecast looks decent for some riding and I'm itchin to get out. The last 6 days I've had off have been rainy and the Harley hasent seen the outside of PUskunks garage since the beginning of December :(

Anyone interested in getting something planned for either or both days?

Depart from the store at 11? That should be late enough for the sun to start warming it up a bit and I need an hour to get out there from Mauldin.

I'm open for route suggestions. Anything under 250 miles for the day is good for me.

I was thinkin a run up to 178 - 64 out to Cashiers for BBQ? Back down thru White Water Falls? Plenty of good directions to branch off from there if anyoe wants to go further.

Lemmie know, if we can get a route set by Friday that would be cool.

No Worries. Wont be any trouble to hang. Cold roads and a month off the bike.... gonna be a nice steady cruise for me. You should definately come out.

Saturday or Sunday?
11:00 is good. that leaves time to get a breafast bisquit from the store. If you've never had one you'r missing out.

hey Law1200 what are you running for a rear shock?
I only ask becouse I had built my self a excelent gsf1200 shock using a 0 mile gsxr1000 shock and an 800lb ohlins spring. but unfortunately totaled the bike before I ever got to use it. should be a little better then the now popular Hayabusa shock mod.

I agree we must do it again I am trying to talk Bucky in riding with us on the next ride I know he is rebounding from a spill but I feel if he was to come alone with us on one ride he will heal quicker, he will see that even though we all ride at different levels we ride for the fellow ship and not to drag a knee, not that there is something wrong with that.

I bought a new bike before I healed from the accident. My left wrist hurt so bad on the test ride I was almost in tears by the time I got back. I still bought it the next day. I had about 50,000miles on my GSF when I T-boned a car at about 45-50 I put another 5,000 miles on her after the reconstruction but by that point I already had a new bike with much lower milage so I had to let her go.
I still have a new rubber chain slider for the GSF you can have if you want. I also have 2 unused 52tooth sprockets for the big bandit if your interested. you can have them both for $20 One is drilled for weight savings the other is stock, both are steel.

I had a blast saturday. I especialy enjoyed the ride on the sportster. Can you see anything in those mirrors though.
After I split off from you guys I still had time for a run up around the water shed before heading home.
