yeah you only out number every other bike in the area.

actualy assuming both days are nice you'll usualy find more riders at the store on a sunday.

funny I thought this was going to be a "sunday drivers" kinda thread, only motorcycle related.

LOL, which is weird because you can ride one and never see another for months. They're one of the least sold bikes in the country.

There are certainly many Sunday rider swho putz along just like Sunday drivers. They are most often seen riding HD's and other Grampa cruisers...............Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I'm just sayin'

Fatbacklow is one of the members on this forum. He rides a road king at a suprisingly quick clip using alot of body english and frame grinding antics. It's pretty entertaining to watch. not your "typical harley rider"

Ah! I have a friend who own's a Ducati 900SS and decided that he needed a cruiser for some reason. Anyway he bought a Honda Shadow Arrow which he proceeded to ride like the Ducati. He was off the seat in every corner. It was a trip to watch him ride. He eventually sold it and kept the Ducati.

that picture made Killboy front page that week not bad considering it was my first full pass on the dragon:blum:

Reminds me of a fella on a Silver Goldwing.

Anybody know who that might be ? Ha Ha !

It is uncommon to find HD riders moving at any kind of quick pace. I did however follow a guy over in TN/GA (somewhere around Ducktown) who was bangin' thru the corners. I couldn't keep up with him. I presumed that he was a local and knew the roads.

I did own a cruiser before. I sold my 2002 Roadstar Warrior to buy my VFR. I thought that I was a cruiser guy, but I'm not.

Not that anyone cares but here is my motorcycle life story :

In 1980 (ish) I got my first bike. A Kawasaki KE100 (yellow and white)

Sold the KE and bought my dad's 1979 Yamaha DT175 (got that in 1982)

Later I stupidly sold the DT175 when I was in the Air Force in 1992.

Got a wild hair in 2000 and went to buy a CB750 Nighthawk new.
Saw the Suzuki SV650 (similar price to the Nighthawk) and got that instead.

Went to the vintage motorcycle race at Mid Ohio and saw a Roadstar Warrior and decided that I was a cruiser guy so even though my wife said that I could keep the SV and buy the Warrior, I still traded the SV in (idiot).

Anyway while planning a trip to TN back in 2001 I got the recall noice on the Warrior so I bought a 1993 CB750 from a coworker (it sat for 8 years in his garage) had only 1300 origial miles. It is and shall always be a great second bike.

Got the Warrior fixed before the trip, but decided that I was NOT a cruiser guy.

Sold it in 2007 and found a left over 2006 VFR800 which I now use as my main bike.

Recently I picked up a 1985 CB450 from a buddy which I was going to use the engine/trans for a 2 seat go cart that I bought for some reason.

Anyway the 450 is just too clean to mess up so I've just decided to sell it.

So I still have the VFR800, CB750, CB450, a CRF50F for my kid and the go cart. Thing is, I still want more, I just need money, garage space and a more understanding wife.

This Sunday may be a good day to ride. With snow predicted there shouldn't be too much traffic on the roads !

Christ on a bicycle. Maybe I haven't been around here long enough but I'm starting to wonder if its prerequisite to own or have owned in the past, a VFR, in order to join here. :)
Guess its just the right enviroment for the breed.
Oh yeah...I'm usually out on Fridays, when I'm actually riding.

I see this Sunday, Feb 22, is supposed to be nice. I don't want to hit the mountains yet. Mostly because of the crap I expect to be on the roads, but I want to go somewhere.
I see you live in Simpsonville, me too. I live near 385 and Fairview. Perhaps we can meet up and compare the size of our bikes. :haha:

I'm new at this so I'll find a signature somewhere
