I was riding down Wade Hampton Blvd in Greenville/Taylors yesterday and saw ATV outfitters on the right so I stopped in to look at 4 wheeler stuff. They've got a huge rack of Pilot Powers that they are selling for about $170 a set. That's a pretty good deal when CycleGear still wants $210 for the same set, and Powersports of Greenville still has them listed at $309 a set. ATV Outfitters is at 3010 Wade Hampton Blvd, right across from Wal-mart. Nice guys, they sat and gave me some very good suggestions on what ATV might be right for what I want to do. Nice to see a place here in town that is selling tires at prices we can find on the internet.

That's not a bad local price, especially if you can't wait a few days to get them through www.jakewilson.com or simply want to support a local dealer. With the JW009 pormotion code and regular ground free shipping for orders over $99, you can save at least $10 and can get around not having to worry about sales tax (another $10+).

Yeah, this is just a good deal to get them and walk out the door. Some people like to walk out with what they paid for and that's why they are willing to pay the higher prices at CycleGear or the stealerships. This is a local alternative where you can go get your tires and drive home with them.

170+ tax and disposal fee will be $200 out the door. I got mine from J.W. For $158 delivered and they are the Made in Spain tires too.
Haven't seen ya in a wile Mat. You riding tomorrow?

No, I won't be riding. I'm going to Franklin all next weekend for a meet so I'm laying low this weekend when we have the kids. I haven't been in the 178 area for a while, been terrorizing Little Switzerland a bit lately. We need to get together soon, I've just got to find more time to ride.

I don't know that they mount and balance the motorcycle tires there, just trying to cut into CycleGear's and Powersport's profits so I'm not talking disposal fees and what not. All Pilot Powers are made in Spain, it's the Pilot Road 2's that are made in Thailand.

It is a war on the manufacturer's level. Michelin has gotten aggressive on there pricing to help increase there market share. This is why everybody has tons of these pilots at a great price. As far as I am concerned there is no better street tire then the dual compound Pilot 2CT, of course an employee 30% rebate helps:congrats: .
