Re: Columbia Area Bike Night

Anyone planning on attending the races Sunday at CMP?

I was wanting to ride up but it probably won't happen, chemo has me too weak, but I will drive the truck up for a while. I'll be the bald headed...

Re: Looked at the Weekend Forecast?????

Be careful, you know the weekend warriors will be out in force crossing center lines at abandon.

If my blood numbers come back good on friday I'm gonna try to go for a short ride saturday of sunday....

Re: thinking of upgrading

Here is a ZX-9 in PA

http://www.sport-touring.net/forums/index.php/topic,58970.0.html

ZX-9's in good condition are a rare find, most were chopped up for the drag strip or "customized" way past good...

Re: Dual Sport Tires

Are they MT-21 Pirelli's?

If so I ran about 14 lbs off-road, 32 on road. A small bicycle pump will air up moto tires quickly and easily. Strap it too the back and take it off when you get to your...

Re: bigboy spotted at little switzerland

One of my favorite roads and more important, one of my favorite places to eat. I think last year the restaurant was bought by some new folks, menu stayed the same but the service was excellent and...

Re: Road condition updates

Went up there on tuesday to drop the 9 off at Ohlins, road up 276 first. I made it a bit past the waterfall and found pavement deteriorating the father I went so I turned around. Lots of black top...

Re: Dual-Sport Columbia - Looking for a OHV Ride Buddy

Enoree has some area's in it that wouldn't be a problem on a GS but then again there are a few spots that I wouldn't attempt. I would advise at least walking them first and making up your own mind....

Re: Dual-Sport Columbia - Looking for a OHV Ride Buddy

Enoree is the only thing close to Cola, I can't imagine doing single track on a GSA.

Plenty of gravel roads out in Sumter Nat Forest, just be advised that deer season is in and them boys like to fly...

Re: Sunday Ride

At least you got to ride even if it was slowly.

Side question; why is it that Florida and Georgia drivers suck so bad. Every time I'm on 26 I get stuck behind Florida plates, every time on 20 it's...

Re: Frank Kinsey Racing School ??'s

I saw that one and it would be perfect but it is listed as "sale pending" on the WERA forums where I've been lurking. I also need to sell my DRZ first to avoid a fight with the wife.

Re: Frank Kinsey Racing School ??'s

Thanks guys, that's the kind of info I am looking for.

I did some looking and no one seems to have a 2011 calendar up yet. A Cornerspeed class would be cheaper (or close to break even) at CMP than...

Would you recommend a different school & why.

Re: SV650 Track Bike

How hacked up is the stock wiring harness, IOW how difficult would it be to return it to street legal?

I'm interested but trying to sell my DRZ first before coming home with another toy and having...

Re: Need riding buddies!

Welcome to the site Tracy.

You will find that "good" roads around Lexington are few...and who am I kidding, there aren't any. The nearest decent roads are around Lake Wateree, other than that you...

Re: Walhalla area parking?

I'm from the Columbia area so saying I'm not to educated about the upstate would be an understatement.

What is this "store" you speak of? :Coffee_Doughnuts: And do they have food?

Walhalla area parking?

Hopefully someone can help me out.

Is there any place in the Walhalla area that I could leave my truck and trailer without having them towed? I don't mind paying for the parking priviledge...

Re: Im gettin dirty now

Do you trailer it up to the mountains?

Once I get some tires on the DRZ, which should be soon, perhaps we could get together for a ride sometime. I'm just off #6, inside Lexington town limits.

Re: '94 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo near Charlotte (needs head gasket)

4 wheel drive still functional? Has it done a lot of towing? Tranny slipping etc.?

I'm interested in it as parts car.

Re: Dual Sports rides/roads

What he said. Lots of dirt (read sand) roads out in Pelion to blast around on or head up to Whitmire and ride the gravel roads in the Nat Forest. If you really have to get a fix, you can do like I do...
