Re: TrackTactics @ CMP, Sat 30 Jul

Pretty good day overall. It did get effing hot for the last few afternoon sessions, but plenty of water all day and it wasn't too bad. My first time at CMP and I liked the track quite a bit. Big...

Re: TrackTactics @ CMP, Sat 30 Jul

Yea, I'm seeing that 110 deg heat index for Saturday and wondering. But I'm also looking at my now much early deployment this fall and still excited about a little more track time.

After the free...

Re: NESBA @ VIR, 15-16 Jul

Hey Ron, thanks for a little bit of company, snapping photos, and for the decals! It was a great day out there yesterday and patriot is a riot. Hopefully I can make it back up there sometime.

Re: NESBA @ VIR, 15-16 Jul

I guess I meant for finding a good place to setup. I've only been to VIR for the south course before. Is the pit area different for Patriot?

I'll be sure to stop by!

I've got a red Chevy...

Re: Ride Sunday, 10 Jul?

Ahh, very nice! I bet that was a good first ride. It turned into a great day and it was nice that the clouds kept it a little cooler in the morning.

I was really happy with that section of 226A...

NESBA @ VIR, 15-16 Jul

Anyone going to be there? I'll be rolling in sometime Fri night for the Patriot course on Sat. I'll be pitting alone so some company would be great!

Re: Ride Sunday, 10 Jul?

It's pretty nice up here. Overcast and 70. Only saw one other set of sportbikes. The skies look threatening but it's been a nice morning.

The portion of 226a down the hill south of little switz is...

Staying in forest city, nc. Hoping to get a decent start in the morning, like 730 or 8. Weather still looks good for tomorrow, maybe just fog in the am. They said rain likely today but it didnt...

Re: Ride Sunday, 10 Jul?

Looks like maybe a start just north of spartanburg will work best. May look to roll up past lake lure and then up to little switz/226/261/80.

Re: 421 Area Ride 18-19 Jun

Yea, I've got gear and I don't mind riding in the rain if the trip is point to point. But if I'm up there looking to rage, then the rain is not my friend.

Still can't get over how impressive NC...

Re: 421 Area Ride 18-19 Jun

Thanks, Kevin. That place does look pretty fancy. Do the bikes bother the horses!?

I'll stick to the plan then and check out 194. I don't mind the bumps if it's worth it.

Am I at least catching...

Re: 421 Area Ride 18-19 Jun

Word, the place Thrux mentioned seems a bit more chill and there are even pictures of (gasp) non-harleys. Maybe I'll look into that. Lenoir hotels were reasonable as well I think.

Thanks for the...

Thanks, Stretch. Which parts are dirt? That's what I wasn't sure of. Anybody know if Rider's Roost is safe for sportbikes?
