Default Sunday Ride

Did we do a ride or what? An old rider that had moved to the Savannah area came through town for a run with us on his new GSXR-1000. Henry do you remember "Freddie" as you used to call him? Now you can call him "Fast Freidde" cause the boy has skills....he picked up somewhere!!! We left out of the BP satation at the same time we used to use and it was a wild pack of riders if I ever saw one! Mike on his new "street fighter",Jeff on the mighty R1,
"Freddie", a young man namde Jeremy on a beautiful anniversary R1, and yours truly on the ST...Knowing this crew you can imagine that I didn't see them til Lillington....
On up it was a bit more sedate pace and I think they had pretty much worked out most of their pent up agression if they had any.....The day was ..say perfect...clear Carolina Blue skies.... The only pause for concern was at the old gas station where we turn to go up to Rex road there was either a deputy or a trouper behind the station...I don't think the other guys saw him cause they never slowed their pace til we got to the boat landing road....Up at Michaels we picked up and old riding bud ZRX Ron, who has a fine example of a ZRX best sounding Hindle pipe I ever saw....this bike has bits to make a machinist proud! A bar clamp w/ ZRX etched deeply in it! SHARP
As A side note the food at Michaels has gotten a bit better but the service is still somewhat lacking, old girl settled my bill and assumed a beverage on my bill ....and the food was but warm.....I could just hear Henry now...
Our ride home was at the "Pace" and was appreciated...we banged about 75-85 most of the way and occasionaly ran them up a bit here and there ....All in all another fine Sunday Ride here in the Herart of the Carolinas...OH yeah where are you Yamadog? you haven't showed your face in the place yet and did you miss out on a great Sunday ride...Ok Riders next Sunday same place same station....0900
Enough of this talking/typing crap I'm going riding
