Rotax until last year, BMW never (to my knowledge) and now made in far east, these damn Germans! Michael's 07 was the last year of the Rotax engine. Assembly is still in Noale at the Aprilia factory.

I may have confused the F650 and the G650 motors. I believe the G motors are used in all of the X (Cross) bikes. Very confusing, the new F650 is now the 800cc parallel twin.
