Unhappy Loss of a Brother

Guys,
Got word today that the struggle is over for a a great guy, a friend ,a motorcyclist and that just scratches the surface....John "J.J." Dalley...
Had one of the first true cafe bikes I ever saw here in the Ville.... in the erly 80s.
had a EX500 that'd give anything we've ridden with all he could stand.....
That monster, cancer, took him from us but hes gone to a better place, and
that is said a lot lately but J.J. is out in the back wood of a "heaven" on a road course that has perfect banking..no blind turns and smooth tarmac.......
He had a tumor and finally got it cleared through his insurance to have a surgery to take care of the tumor....they opened him up and closed him right up,but not before giving him a dose of radiation....Didn't tell his family for a day.....the ordeal took some three years to come to a slow end......not long ago he sold his sreet bike a hot rod Yamaha Road Star....with a touring seat for his wife....Rene....
One of our last rides with him was up to VIR for the Lightening Natonals...the infamous one where we all camped out...we watched races all day drank til late at night and really enjoyed ourselves.....
The services for J.J. are to be on Monday evening...I'll try to get the particulars for the service and post them here.....I don't think I ever saw him without a smile on his face...and every time he would come to the shop..he'd jump into my arms and called me Dad.....damn....I'm gonna miss my son.....
