Default Raleigh Rumble Aug 29-30 Vintage Bike Show

The North Carolina chapter of Ton-Up, the Cape Fear chapter of the Brit Iron Rebels and the Incriminators Scooter Club would like to extend this invitation to join us and several other vintage motorcycle enthusiasts from around the world to the 5th Annual Mods vs. Rockers, Raleigh Rumble Bike Show & Rally.

Here’s the basic information:

Event Name: Raleigh Rumble Vintage Bike Show & Rally
When: August 30th, 2008 4:00PM
Where: Players Retreat - 105 Oberlin Rd Raleigh, NC 27605 (919) 755-9589
Sponsors: TonUp-NC, Brit Iron Rebels & tHe InriminatOrs
Website: www.raleighrumble.com

The show is located in a lovely area of Raleigh, NC with plenty of space across from Player’s Retreat (PR) (http://www.playersretreat.net/) The show is free to the public with ample space for foot traffic. There will be a nominal charge for show bikes and a modest fee for vendor space at the swap meet. Proceeds of the event will be donated to a local charity.

The show is not intended to raise a ton of money but for the pure enjoyment of old motorbikes and scooters. Many older riders walk through and recall many memories of "I had one of these" or "one time on a bike just like this" and the young kids find them intriguing on how much different they are from today's current bikes. They appeal to all ages and that is what they are there for. For the pure enjoyment of the bike and what it means to everyone else. Some of the registered bikes include, Vintage Indians, Velocettes , Moto-Guzzi's a 1951 BSA Gold Flash, 1967 BSA Royal Star, '70, 73 & 75 Triumph Tridents, Rocket III's,'73-74 Norton Commandos, Honda Cafe Racers, 2002 Triumph custom Bonneville, 1964 Triumph Bonneville "Bobber", 1965 BSA Bobber Many Vintage/Custom Vespa & Lambretta Scooters.
