Default Re: Dirt/DS Playground - Part II

I did a solo ride behind Cycle Gear last Saturday. I saw not one bike and there was a sign at the entrance point area by Radio Shack that motorized vehicles were prohibited or something like that. Being a good law abiding citizen, I disregarded the sign and proceeded to ride in the playground. I was anxious to test out my Revloc Dyna Ring Auto Clutch on my plated KLX450R. I believe all the hype now as it was easier to ride in all conditions. Kind a like riding a Honda 50 with semi auto clutch. Just twist and go. The power hit was just like before but no more clutching in tight terrain or obstacles. I am not an advanced dirt rider and I appreciated being in the powerband all the time.

It had just rained a day or two last week and the conditions were perfect as the trails were tacky due to rain with mudholes thrown in here and there for fun but I got little uneasy knowing that I was the only one out there. I rode exploring trails for about hour and half and then split.

I will look for a group ride next time.

Later,

Jon
