Vicki Got Crashed...
For anyone who hasn't heard, yet, Vicki had a woman make a left turn in front of her in Pickens yesterday. The woman "didn't see Vicki" coming from the opposite direction, probably because she was too busy tailgating the woman in front of her through the intersection. Vicki hit the car, flew over the hood, and apparently landed on her shoulder. She broke her shoulder/arm in three places, broke her "good" right leg just below the knee, and tore up a few ligaments in her right knee.
They did surgury this morning to put her shoulder back together and are talking about reconstructive surgury on the ligaments in her knee either at the end of the week or early next week. They may tack her tibia back together when they go into the knee. This is the news, as the last I have heard.
She's in Greenville and hoping to get some rest. She wasn't able to get any sleep last night because of the pain.
According to Jeremy, her R1 is toast. It was a solid T-bone hit and the front is a goner. If the frame isn't damaged, I may try to rebuild it, but I haven't inspected it, yet. She loved that bike, too.
I just figured I'd let everyone know so you didn't hear it through the grapevine.
