Default Why we ride and why this is not a DUCATI forum

There was some heated discussion going on lately about a DUCATI bike night.

I took the liberty to move the thread into the DUCATI section.

This is the Carolina Riders Forum, this is not the Carolina Ducati Riders Forum.

I found this on another site and I think it exactly describes the spirit of CR, at least how I understand it.

>>>What attracts people to motorcycling? When faced with the numerous personalities of both riders and motorcycles, there may not be a single answer. Despite the differences between touring rider and hill climber, chrome-encrusted cruiser and nimble Grand Prix race bike, there are some universal attributes that get under the skin of the motorcyclist and feed the desire to ride<<<

It doesn't matter to me, and this was proven many times on CR rides with a wide variety of different bikes and makes, what make somebody rides.
I like to ride and hang out with people who share the same passion. Thats why I am a member of this forum.

Yes I happen to ride a DUCATI. And yes I have a deep affection to the brand which goes back almost 30 years now.
Does this make me a different person, does this make me superior? Hell no, I can't even ride the bikes to their fullest potential.

Let's share the passion of riding, let's enjoy friendship and careing for each other but let there be no devide amongst us because of motorcycle type or brand.

Let's go RIDE!
