Default April 18th ride near Asheville

The Charlotte forum is pretty active, and it dawned on me that you folks might be more interested in this event than the folks in the mountains since we ride around here all the time anyway...

It is posted in the mountains forum, but here it is again. I'm not associated with Acme, but this just sounds like a cool one-day event to me.

Acme has announced a one day street and dual sport event - music and food! e-mail them to 'register' or just show up. With food involved, advance notice would be appreciated I'm sure.

Info below - it's not on their website, but there is an announcement on their Facebook page:

Acme Motorcycles is announcing its first ADVENTURE RIDE of the season!

Road and Dual Sport! Two different routes!

Sunday, April 18th

Doors open at 8:00 for breakfast and tire kicking. Follow the map to our double secret location and be the first to visit our newest gathering point for future events. Imagine land with trails and excellent riding just around the corner. Russ Corn (Clockwatcher) and Jerry McNair, local riding fanatics, have put together a couple of rides (both street and dual sport) that promise to be a pleasure.

We will meet you there with FOOD. Some really fine stuff…not your normal roadside cuisine! and MUSIC for your dining pleasure. Good music… Cowboy and such… Mr. David Mann of Cow Skeleton Records, will be putting a few folks together for a relaxing hour or so before you continue the ride.

Then Home again!!!
Back to Acme for tire kicking and snacks!

Don’t have a Dual Sport Bike? Want to try one out?
Acme is offers a limited number of Dual Sport Motorcycle Rentals.
Reserve yours now!

All this for the amazingly low price of $20. (Cheap)
Interested? Email us or call or just show up.

One More Time:
Riding... Check
Food... Check
Music... Check
Fun... Absolutely!
