Ride to Uwharrie, Sunday 8 July

This is my first time on CarolinaRiders in over a year... so let's celebrate! We're leaving from Cedar Point Restaurant in Spring Lake at 0800 Sunday. Show up early if you want to eat breakfast. This Sunday we're planning on hitting the twisties between Carthage and Troy - nice clean roads, usually very little cage traffic. For those that haven't ridden with us, its not a race - everyone ride your own pace. Those that want to ride faster work to the front. Those that want to cruise, bring up the rear. We wait for everyone at each stop or turn on to another road.
We need to get a regular Sunday ride going on again like we did for about 10 years from Methodist College. Sometimes we'll do twisites, sometimes cruise to the coast for Rod's catfish, sometimes do some adventure bike stuff and of course some serious dirtbiking, and maybe an occasional mountain trip or track day! So if you've been whining about no place to ride or no one to ride with - be there Sunday!
Tim, great to hear you're alive and doing well! Rod and I just cruised through your neck of the woods last Sunday - on the way back from a motorcycle camping trip down to Two Wheels Only and some of the finest roads in the north Georgia mountains. We need to link up and tear up some blacktop, Dr. Benzeno.
